Well since no-one decided anything for viewer's choice, I decided to go back in time. For the next week or so I will be going on about some old games for the PC and PS2. When I mentioned old game reviews to my friend he did request Dynasty Warriors 3 for PS2, and we go way back with that game so "Thomas" (SEXY ASAIN GUY), this one is for you.
Dynasty Warriors 3
Dynasty Warriors 3 is probably the second best game (after GTA: Vice City) for the Playstation 2 as far as I know. Why? You choose your character from three different dynasty's and have your own story trying to conquer all of china and protect your dynasty. Each character also has a special weapon which come with a diverse set of hack and slash skills. My personal favorite character is Zhao Yun, from the green dynasty, and he has an awesome spear to go with his agility. The objective of the game is to conquer all of the other dynasties by playing each of the characters (like 7 levels for each), and by doing that you unlock greater players like Cao Cao and Lu Bu. Btw Lu Bu is almost impossible to kill in the musou mode (adventure mode) so unless you have a godly gaming gift, I don't advise trying to kill him. Oh and also btw, musou is a what power's you to do an incredible attack that blocks any attack coming your way and kills/knocks down anyone within your immediate vicinity. So basically in every level you and your partner (if you choose to play with one) have to destroy the main boss and on the way you kill a whole bunch of officers who give you stuff that raise your defense and offense and sometimes items which you can set to help you, e.g. "never lose dead-locks" scroll. A deadlock btw is when you and your opponent hit a stalemate with your weapons and you have to click the square button faster to prevent him from winning. Well with this scroll no matter what you do you will always overpower your opponent and be able to continue attacking him/her. Occasionally you will find a box and once you acquire it, it will say "get weapon". Usually this is very good because your weapon upgrades whether it has better attack or mounted attack (attack while riding a horse or elephant). So that's basically all for Musou Mode, but there is like a time trial mode and a mode where you go for survival and how many people you can kill. VS battle is really fun also, grab a partner, choose your best characters and the winner of 2 out of 3 can officially be called the better player. There are different maps which do different things. One VS map is on a small bridge where you cant escape and must fight player 2 while each of your army's tries to join in and kill the opposite team and its leader a.k.a. player 2. In some other maps you have 3 or 4 other computer players on your team (actual officers this time, not army soldiers), and the first player to die or have their army destroyed loses. And their is one or two maps where you can go straight up one on one to see who really has more skill. If your a wuss you'll stand back most of the time arching and running whenever your opponent approaches you OR you will charge your musou, do a super attack and run away like a fat boy (Zhu Xu, lol). And if you`re a pro (like me) you will kill the player's team and then sit back and watch your men destroy player 2 while you sit back and eat a nice hot personal sausage pizza :) That's about all I can think of but if you have had good stories of playing this game or want to challenge me (cough cough...
