Soldier Front

Again sorry for the delay. This time the excuse is that I wanted to download the game, try it out to refresh my memory and then blog about it, but my pc was not running so smoothly a.k.a. I need an upgrade. Anyways so here we go with today's post about the fourth and last Free FPS, Soldier Front.

Download
To download Soldier Front, go to ijji.com and first download the Reactor and make an account on ijji.com. The Reactor will allow you to download and start all the games made by ijji. After you've done that find Soldier Front on the Reactor and download and install it. If you have your firewall up you will have to put it down, and this game is not known for viruses but make sure you have a good anti-virus system when you play just to make sure. Avast anti-virus is the best free one, and it catches anything harmful very quickly and takes care of it.

Games/Maps
There are the most usual games in FPS's as far as I can remember. Of course there is the classic team death match and some good maps at that despite the HORRIBLE graphics I experienced relative to the ones of Crossfire. There is Desert Camp with a semi-intricate design just enough for the gamer to experience some fun deciding where to go when spawning with 3 different main passageways and either to use stealth or go full out in the middle of all the action. Then there is Factory, the second popular TDM map where you can snipe on a ledge to protect your base or go through the middle either above or beneath in a wide shooting arena underground. I do give this game credit for its simplistic yet very usable maps, probably the one of the best features about it. But do not think that all of the maps are that way, for there are some pretty boring maps. For example this one rocky/grass hill map where 50% of the time you are running and if your not in control of the base then you will get sniped by the opposing team protecting it as soon as you appear in their sights. Secondly for games we have Team Battle which believe is just Search and Destroy with a different name, pretty original, no explanation needed. Lastly we have Captain Mode or Team Captain, I forget, but this one is pretty fun. First of all the Captains on each team have gigantic heads so you know who to shoot to get your team the most points. I forget whether it kill all the Captains first or gain the most points, but captains a.k.a. big heads have more health than usual and you need to shoot/kill them the most to reach the objective. Lastly there is zombie mode, maps are good and specified for realistic horror, it's really impressive actually, good maps and zombies have a variety of abilities, good mode and I'd say its second best.

Guns
Typical, sorry on this one can't say much. You have to buy them for gp or whatever you use but yea nothing special.
